David Johnston's 1977 Fiat Spyder Convertible!

Major repairs/"upgrades":

• Transmission replaced after 3rd gear syncro. went at 5PM at Georgia Ave. and Randolph Road in Wheaton, MD

• Replaced clutch, when clutch cable snapped on the New Jersey Turnpike many moons ago...,

• new tires,

• had to buy a front bumper, and seats

• bought the car at a D.C. Police Auction near Blue Plains!

This car was towed 4 times in the 6 months I owned it, so I then bought a Toyota Corolla GT-S that did not leave the fleet until approximately 260,400 miles later!!!

Note: the car towing the Fiat (a 1976 Plymouth Valiant) had over 100,000 miles on it, while the car being towed only had 50,000 miles on it...
